About Chigbrow Ryan Murata, Chtd.

Originally established in Boise in 1985, the Chigbrow Ryan Murata, Chtd. draws on its history and foresight to provide ethical and thorough financial, accounting, management advisory and tax services to the individuals and small businesses of all industries throughout the U.S.

As we all know, taxes are inevitable for all individuals and businesses. Inevitable doesn’t have to mean painful and should never mean unforeseen. By working with you to plan ahead, Chigbrow Ryan Murata, Chtd. can help minimize the tax crunch and help you to be tax-efficient, both as an individual and as a business. Not only used for tax planning, we add value by producing interim and annual financial statements on a compiled or reviewed basis—giving you the right information on time, to make important business decisions.

We have years of experience preparing all types of income tax and information returns. We prepare partnership and corporate returns for a wide range of industries and all sizes of businesses. We prepare trust, estate and gift returns. Finally, we have extensive experience with not-for-profit entities from the initial application to the annual tax returns.

Cordell Chigbrow
Cordell R. Chigbrow, CPA, MSAT
Cordell was born in Boise and received his Masters Degree in Accountancy-Taxation from Boise State University. He has been practicing with the Firm since 1996. He is a member of American Institute of CPAs, Idaho Society of CPAs and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Cordell enjoys an active role in the community as a volunteer for many non-profit organizations.


Brad Ryan
Brad Ryan, CPA, CVA
Brad was born and raised in The Dalles, Oregon. He earned his BS in Business Administration & Accounting at Oregon State University. He has been practicing with the Firm since 1997. He is a member of American Institute of CPAs, Boise Estate Planning Council, Idaho Society of CPAs, National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts and the Treasurer for the Idaho Business for Education. Brad enjoys spending time with his family, all sports and volunteer coaching.


Jerod Murata
Jerod Murata, CPA
Jerod was born and raised in Ontario, Oregon. He earned his BS in Business Administration & Management Information Systems at Gonzaga University. He has been a practicing CPA since 1999. Jerod is a member of American Institute of CPAs and Idaho Society of CPAs. He serves with the Idaho Potato Bowl Advisory Council as well as the Boise Public School Foundation Board. Jerod enjoys golfing, CrossFit, skiing, and spending time with his family.


Timothy Jones
Marion DeMaria, CPA, CFE
Marion was born and raised in Princeton, New Jersey and obtained a Bachelor of Art in Economics from Boston University. She has been practicing as a Certified Public Accountant in Boise, Idaho since 1996 with a focus on income tax matters. She has experience in financial statement preparation, tax planning for high income taxpayers and representation before taxing authorities. Marion enjoys reading, movies and spending time with her husband and two sons.


Karen Ginnett
Karen Ginnett, CPA, MST
Karen was born and raised on the East Coast. She received her BS in Business Management – Accounting from the University of Maryland and her Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Karen has provided tax and accounting services for over 35 years. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Idaho Society of CPAs.


Amy Gallegos
Amy Gallegos
Amy was raised in Burley, Idaho. She attended the University of Idaho and Boise State University, where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy. She has been with the Firm since 2000. She has extensive knowledge of Quickbooks, and years of experience assisting in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for both businesses and individuals. Outside of work, she stays busy and active in the community with her husband and two children.


Becky Yates
Becky Yates
Becky was born and raised in eastern Idaho. She earned an Associate degree in Business from Boise State University. She joined the Firm as a staff accountant in 2004. She is highly skilled in payroll, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation along with being proficient in QuickBooks. She enjoys spending time with her daughters and shopping.


Delta Sirles
Delta Sirles
Delta was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. She attended Boise State University, where she received her Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts. She has over 15 years of administrative experience. She joined the Firm in 2017. Delta enjoys being with her daughter, traveling, and volunteering in her community.


Kayleen Branch
Kayleen Branch
Kayleen was born and raised in Western Montana and moved to Boise in 2014. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2011 and will double major in Accounting by the end of 2019. She has several years of QuickBooks, financial statement preparation, payroll, and tax experience beginning in 2012. She plans to obtain her CPA license in 2020. Outside of work she can be a homebody who loves nothing more than spending time with her husband, kids, and dogs. As a family they enjoy camping, hiking, skiing, and boating. She can often be found curled up with a good book or crafting.


Shanna Barrett
Shanna Barrett
Shanna was born in Kalispell, Montana and raised in Victor, Montana. She lived in Idaho from 2007 through 2012, returned to Montana for a few years, and then came back in 2018. She has worked in the public-school system where she first gained experience with accounting. She then began working in public accounting firms in 2018. Shanna specializes in accounting, payroll, billing, and accounts payable. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters at community events, camping, and various other activities.


Danielle Garcia
Danielle Garcia
Danielle was raised in Ontario, Oregon. She obtained her BS degree in Business Administration from Western Oregon University. She began her accounting career in 2014 and has loved bookkeeping ever since. She specializes in payroll, accounts payable, accounting and bookkeeping and is proficient with Quickbooks. Outside of work, Danielle is a busy wife and mom to four kids. She enjoys cooking, spending time with her family and roaming the aisles of Target.


Travis O’Neill
Travis O’Neill
Travis was born and raised in Butte, Montana. He earned his BS in Accounting & Finance from the University of Montana. Since 2013, Travis had worked in public accounting in Montana. He relocated to the Boise area in December of 2020 and joined the team at Chigbrow Ryan Murata. He is currently working to pass the CPA exam. In his free time, Travis enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. He also enjoys traveling and seeing new places.


Timothy Jones
Timothy Jones
Timothy was raised in Meridian, Idaho. He attended Northwest Nazarene University as a Collegiate Baseball Player. He later transferred to Boise State University and received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy. Timothy began working in Finance in 2017 and later moved to Public Accounting in 2020. He is currently studying for the CPA exam and plans to obtain his license in 2022. Outside of work, Timothy enjoys spending time with his wife, dog, and cat. Together they enjoy camping, boating, fishing, hunting, exercising, and exploring the outdoors.

Ruth was born and raised in Idaho. She has worked in public accounting for over 20 years. She is experienced in accounting and bookkeeping, tax work and preparation, and payroll processing. Outside of the office, she loves to spend time with family, enjoys walking the Boise Greenbelt, biking and hiking in the Idaho mountains.

Tina was raised in Montana. She worked in the education system for 22 years as an Administrative Assistant before moving from Montana to Idaho with her husband as they wanted to be closer to their children and grandchildren. She enjoys crafting and watching her grandchildren’s sporting events.
